The Friday Salon

Inspired by the 18th-century French tradition of gathering in private homes to meet, trade ideas, challenge conventions, and celebrate the arts, we’re opening the doors to a different female artist’s home once a month.

It’s simple: 3 Artists. 1 House. Inspiring conversation and connections.

Whether you want to view the work of our three featured women artists or listen to live poetry and music, we welcome you. In the spirit of the original salons, women take center stage. While men are warmly invited to join the conversation or take part as a poet or musician but the exhibition space is reserved exclusively for the work of female-identifying creators.

The host of this salon is New Zealand born, York resident who works in architecture and a keen potter.

Since it’s in a private home, we will keep the address private but the general location will be available prior to the event.…
